Rohit Chand is a Nepali footballer. He is the youngest player to play for Senior Nepal Team in international games. He started playing football at the age of eight with his brother Rabindra Chand. Rabindra Chand is also a pro footballer for Nepali National Team.
Chand made his professional footballing debut at Machhindra Football Club. Chand’s center back play was highly appreciated and was highlighted in Machhindra’s season. He was a captain of the club. He was awarded with “Best Defender Award” in the 2010-2011 season. He transferred to HAL SC in India. Nepal’s football coach said that Chand is good enough to play for top English clubs. According to talksports.co.uk, Arsenal F.C. and Tottenham Hotspurs are looking for Rohit chand to get him in their squad. Ligue One champions Lille OSC are looking for Chand which is likely due to strict rules of England on non-EU players. Rangers F.C. of Scottish League were also trying to add him in their squad.
